How to read these records

The record

Public Health — Seattle & King County inspects restaurants, groceries, schools and other food establishments and publishes every inspection. This site gathers them into one record per establishment: the latest inspection, its result as the authority wrote it, and how many inspections the file holds. A lower score is better.

Status

Inspected food establishment. An inspection describes one visit on one day; it is not a rating of the business today. The text of violations and the inspector's name are not shown.

What is not here

Individuals, and any name without a company word (Inc, LLC, Corp, Co…). Owner and contact names, phone numbers and mailing addresses, which this site never downloads.
